Join KLSU next Friday on November twentieth at A Backyard Beat Affair, a meeting of local Beatsmiths and Hip-Hop artists. The party goes on from 6PM to 12AM at 2857 Perkins Rd. Beauvoir Park behind Chelse’s Café.
The lineup for the event looks to be awesome. With a lot of Local talent working the stage and giving the audience an experience you’ll never forget.
6:45 -7:15: _thesmoothcat, a local rapper who is sure to
impress with his sweet flow and amazing talent.
7:30-8:15: things get funky when Joe Grady takes the stage to show us what real funk is all about.
8:30-9:00: DJ FTK; a local producer and Beat Master who
is sure to liven up the party.
9:15-10:00: Made Groceries, a local Hip-Hop trio, will take the stage to show us just how much they love their craft.
10:15-11:00: Slomile Swift, a wildcard that can do just about anything, will take the stage with a live band and do who knows what!
11:15-12:00: Notorious Baton Rouge rapper Shoe-Lace takes command of the mike and rounds us off with his incredible style.
Entry Fee for all is $5.
Food will be sold by local food truck vendors. Drinks can be bought from Chelsea’s Café.
Grills are open to use.
Parking is first come, first served near Chelsea’s and the surrounding streets. Please refrain from parking in the alleyways.
Smoking is allowed, but please be considerate with your trash.
