Led Zeppelin, formally known as the New Yardbirds, is an English rock band formed in London in 1968 which consisted of lead singer Robert Plant, Jimmy Page at lead guitar, John Paul Jones at bass and keyboard, and John Bonham on the drums. The band revolutionized the sounds of rock from the late 60’s to 80’s with their mixed roots of blues, folk, and psychedelic, rock.
