John Treloar, who was hired by the LSU basketball program as an assistant coach in April, has accepted a job with another NBA team, NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune initially reported late Tuesday night.
Based on the report, it is unclear which professional team Treloar is joining, but he told NOLA.com that it was an difficult decision that was too good to pass up. Treloar just finished his fifth season with the Phoenix Suns as the Director of Player Personnel but was hired by LSU coach Johnny Jones to fill the vacated position by new Nevada coach Eric Musselman.
Treloar previously worked on the LSU staff from 2004-2008 under former coach John Brady.
