Yes is a British progressive rock band formed in 1968 by singer John Anderson and bassist Chris Squire. Yes has recorded twenty studio albums and has spawned several other musical acts, most notably Asia in 1981. They are most famous for their orchestral and symphonic compositions, as well as mystical lyrics and spiritual imagery. Yes excels in combining the compositional elements of classical orchestral music with the complex arrangements of progressive rock.
