Apple released the brand new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus on Sept. 25. The newest update to the iPhone line includes 3D Touch, which lets the screen track pressure, a faster processor, another gigabyte of RAM and a rose gold finish along with the silver, space gray and gold. LSU students sound off on what features they care about the most and what they would do for the new phone.
What would you do to get your hands on a new iPhone?
Marketing and sales junior Tyler Lewis: “I would miss the next home game for the new iPhone.”
Biological sciences freshman Mieklan Bortnick: “If someone was giving out free iPhones, I would camp out in line for it.”
Kinesiology freshman Shayna Yon: I wouldn’t do much because there is always going to be a new one.
What features draw you into the new iPhone?
Biology freshman Michelle Opiri: “I like how the new front-facing camera uses the screen to flash for lighting.”
Accounting freshman Ben Domingue: “I think the Live Photos are cool because it shows you a few seconds before and after the photos were taken.
Human resource management freshman Abigail Samson: “I really like the new rose gold color.”
Kinesiology freshman Grace Chapman: “I like how the new phone takes Live Photos and makes a gif-type video when you take them.”
