Try to find a trap song on Soundcloud that wasn’t at least partially influenced by Mr. Carmack. I dare you. He has such a hold on the entire sound of what music is coming out these days it’s difficult to go through a listening session on the internet without running into something sounding comparable to Mr. Carmack. Personally, I think he has had a massive hand in shaping the way modern beat music and hip hop instrumentals are formed and even published. The dude is unsigned and making tidal waves working with some big names and then turning around and giving it all away. Seriously, he gives all his music out for free. It’s tremendous.
