Not many musical artists of our generation have the ability to create a new genre of music and make it sound appealing. Animal Collective, however, has done this by using their creatively musical minds and their own electronic instruments. Avey Tare, Panda Bear, Deakin, and Geologist each have their own distinct talent that provides to the unidentified genre that they hold. Animal Collective is the new sound of the century and we are still figuring it out.
