Episode 23 of Radiosnack explored the sounds of electric jazz. It’s not really that much of a thing. Really, what I was trying to do was to get a whole bunch of artists and songs that sounded like they had been heavily influenced by jazz in some sort of way. Be it the swing of the early 1900s or the smooth contemporary jazz that is going on in the present day, I wanted the smooth sax and the wild clarinets or vice versa with the adjectives. I think it went over quite well. We revisited a few feelings from the electric funk playlist and added some soul and chill to the mix. Speaking of, here’s that mix’s setlist:
