The LSU Athletic Department has announced that everyone who purchased a ticket to the cancelled McNeese State game on Saturday will receive a a full refund. 
Fans who purchased a ticket using a credit card will receive their refund by September 30th. 
Anyone who used other means to purchase their ticket will receive a refund check in the mail by October 15th. 
Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Joe Alleva said that issuing the refund was the best course of action. 
“In the end, we believe that issuing the refund is quite simply the right thing to do in this case,” Alleva said. “We have a plan in place that fairly reimburses fans who purchased tickets through our ticket office.” 
Alleva also addressed LSU’s fanbase. 
“Our fans again demonstrated why they are the best in the nation, and we appreciate their patience as we administer this process.”
