Ashley Libys, a 2015 graduate from the LSU School of Interior Design, was recently honored at the International Interior Design Association Delta Regional Chapter Awards Gala for her senior capstone project, “Stays to Remember: Enhancing Hotel Experiences through Design,” according to a College of Art and Design news release.
Libys won an Interior Design Excellence Award in the student commercial category, according to the release.
“Receiving this award is exciting and a big honor,” Libys said in the release. “The emotional impact that spaces have on people is what sparked my interest in pursuing a career in design.”
