Pop-rock superstars OneRepublic will perform at halftime at the LSU – Florida homecoming game on October 17, according to Director of Athletics Joe Alleva.
The performance will be integrated with the Golden Band from Tigerland, according to LSUSports.net
The event was put together through collaboration between College Live, LSU Sports Properties and LSU Athletics. Organizers are expecting to announce another SEC home game performance in the near future.

OneRepublic performed Groovin’ in 2011 when the preferred genre of most students was rock, said mass communication junior Mary Dicharry, director of Student Government Student Entertainment. Now, the majority of students on campus prefer hip-hop/rap, which is why rapper Kevin Gates will headline the 2019 concert.
