Brandon Harris is the starting quarterback for Saturday’s matchup against McNeese State University, said LSU football coach Les Miles during a Monday afternoon news conference. 
Until Monday, Miles had yet to announce his starter. Harris and quarterback Anthony Jennings were both pinned for the role.
This summer Anthony Jennings was suspended from the team six weeks after he was arrested. Jennings’ charges were drop a few weeks before preseason camp and he returned with the team, but Harris still pulled ahead.
