LSU senior all-arounder Rheagan Courville was named the Southeastern Conference Gymnast of the Week on Tuesday after winning her first all-around title of the season against Missouri.
In the first two meets, Courville took a backseat to senior all-arounder Jessie Jordan — who earned back-to-back SEC Gymnast of the Week honors — but regained the reins of the team with a nation-high all-around score of 39.625 Friday night.
Courville scored season-highs on vault, beam, floor and all-around and led LSU in its trouncing of overmatched SEC foe Missouri.
Through three meets, the two-time reigning vault national champion ranks No. 2 nationally on bars and No. 6 in the all-around.
