Chris Harrison comes in and tells the girls this week there will be three dates. Two groups and a one one-on-one. Also, this week Chris’ three sisters decide who will go on the one-on-one.
The first date card says, “Lets do what feels natural.” Eight girls are chosen to go on the group date.
They drive nice, old cars and they end up at a beautiful blue lake. All of the girls are excited to go swimming with Chris except Ashley I. who feels she hasn’t been getting enough attention. She calls out to him and proceeds to take off her swimsuit top and jump in the water. Kaitlyn then goes up to the water, and in an attempt to mock Ashley I., pulls off her bathing suit bottoms and jumps in! Kelsey spends the whole time complaining about the date.
During the date, Chris’s sisters come to speak to the girls who aren’t on the group date.
Each girl gets to have private time to talk with the sisters so they can decide who will get to go on the date.
Back at the date, the girls find out they will be spending the night camping. They have to put up the tents and Megan and Kaitlyn impress Chris with their speedy set up.
Chris and Kaitlyn have a good talk about communication and expressing affection.
A lot of the members of the date end up getting drunk and Ashley S. tells him she loves him. She’s definitely crazy and she kisses him. The rest of the girls are very flirty and items of clothing are removed throughout the night. Ashley I want’s to talk to Chris so they go into his tent and she tries to let him know she’s a virgin. He doesn’t really know what she’s getting at but they end up making out.
Despite Ashley I.’s best efforts to win it, Chris ends up giving Kaitlyn the rose.
Back at the house, Jade feels overlooked but the sisters are impressed with her and pick her for the date. Chris doesn’t know who will be on the date. A beautiful dress is made for her and she undergoes a makeover and becomes a true princess. Most of the girls are happy for her but Ashley I. is pissed because she had to suffer through camping and she thinks she’s more of a princess girl.
The date is going well, and Chris is incredibly excited Jade was chosen on the date. She reveals to him she was engaged before when she was very young and then broke it off. Chris admits that he was too and believes when relationships don’t go well it’s for a reason.
Jade and Chris’s date is going really well and at the end of the night he gives her a rose and announces there’s one more surprise. He walks her into a ballroom and they get to dance together while an orchestra gives them a private serenade. They KISS. (more like make out)
Chris says he might have overlooked her in the beginning but he definitely won’t anymore.
Back at the house, six girls get a date card saying “let’s get dirty.” Also, they each get a big box and when they lift the lid, inside is a white wedding dress. Jillian feels uncomfortable in her dress — she’s used to being a casual, outdoors girl. They are taken to a private jet that drops them off at an undisclosed location with an obstacle run, called Muckfest MS which is a fun obstacle course used to raise money for multiple sclerosis. The winner of the race gets to go on a one-on-one date with Chris.
Jillian is the clear winner. Chris falls behind and helps out some of the other girls. One of them, Becca, says she enjoyed his help because she got to spend a little time with him even though she knew she wouldn’t win the date.
Jillian and Chris get to go off on a romantic rooftop dinner in San Francisco. He tried to ask her what her five year plan is and she just blows it off. As the date goes on, he realizes he can’t really get a word in edgewise. Jillian thinks the date is going well but Chris doesn’t seem to think they have the right chemistry. He decides not to give her a rose. Jillian cries and tells him she’s really sorry she couldn’t open up to him and she is sent home.
All the girls are anxious as they get ready for the cocktail party and rose ceremony. Megan and Chris go off to share some time together. She blindfolds him and says he has to wait until she comes backs. She brings out a plate of fruit and chocolate and they have lots of fun. They KISS.
Ashley I. decides she didn’t make herself clear when she told him she was a virgin and she decides she’s going to tell him straight out. So she tells him she is and he’s actually kind of surprised, but then admits to her that he completely respects her. Ashley I. is really upset he didn’t want to kiss her because of her confession. When she’s talking about it to the girls, Becca admits to them she’s also a virgin but hasn’t told Chris yet.
Britt starts to get a little jealous she hasn’t spent time with Chris recently. She goes to him and decides she’s going to confront him about it. She says she heard on the camping date there were a lot of rumors about sex. She calls him out and asks if Kaitlyn got a rose because she was sexual or if they had sex. Chris is completely caught off guard and he’s a little off put that Britt would question his integrity. He then just gets up and leaves.
He makes a statement to the women to tell them he’s there to find a wife and if any of them question his intentions or his integrity than they are welcome to go home. Britt is concerned because she knows the remark was made because of her comments.
At the rose ceremony, Britt and Ashley I are very stressed out and then they both end up getting a rose. Ashely S., Juelia, and Nikki go home. He goes outside and talks to Juelia and tells her he respects her so much and he’s sorry he isn’t romantically interested in her.
