Robert Mann, Manship Chair in Journalism at the LSU Manship School of Mass Communication, urges Louisiana college leaders to speak out in 2015.
In an opinion piece for NOLA.com Mann calls on presidents, college deans, and other University leaders to call out Governor Bobby Jindal’s plans for higher education that he believes don’t have the students’ best interest in mind.
Mann writes that these University leaders have great power if “they collectively challenged Jindal and demanded fair treatment for Louisiana’s college students.”
