Tyron Johnson, the top-ranked player in Louisiana, committed to LSU on Friday during the Under Armor All-American Game.
Johnson chose the Tigers over Texas Tech, Auburn, Georgia and Oklahoma State. The 6-foot-1 Warren Easton product is No. 25 in the ESPN 300 and joins running backs Derrius Guice and Nick Brossette, receiver Xavier Lewis and fullback David Ducre in LSU’s class of top-10 local talent.
