LSU defensive tackle Trey Lealaimatafao was dismissed from the football team, Les Miles announced Monday.
“Trey is no longer a member of our football team,” Miles said in a statement. “We have gathered information on this incident and we feel it’s best for us to part ways.”
Lealaimatafao was arrested for simple battery and simple robbery June 18 and was suspended indefinitely.
He previously was arrested July 24, 2014, along with defensive tackle Davon Godchaux for a bicycle theft reported on July 1, 2014.
