The LSU softball team returns home after a four-game road-sweep, as it hosts Arkansas for a three-game Southeastern Conference series beginning today at 6 p.m. at Tiger Park.
The Tigers (23-8, 7-1 SEC) have won eight straight games after beating in-conference foes Mississippi State and South Carolina and midweek opponents Georgia Tech and McNeese State.
They will face an Arkansas (18-13, 2-9 SEC) squad struggling to get back on the right track, holding a five-game losing streak.
LSU sophomore infielder Allison Falcon is batting a team-leading .339 this season, and hit .368 during the Tigers’ win streak – their longest of the season.
“The eight-game win streak feels great,” Falcon said. “I love having all of the momentum. We get to play at home this weekend and hopefully get three more wins and keep the momentum
