There’s a new music festival coming to Louisiana. Buku Music and Art Festival will be opening the doors to music and art lovers for the first time this year.
Buku will take place at the Mardi Gras World venue in New Orleans on March 17 and 18. It will host two stages for musical performances and space for art vendors. One stage will be inside the venue, while the main stage will be outside by the Mississippi River.
Unlike Jazz Fest and Voodoo Fest, Buku is focused more toward an electronic music audience. Some of the main acts include Skrillex, Yelawolf, Wiz Khalifa, Diplo, SBTRKT, Big Freedia, and Purity Ring. Taking after Voodoo Music Experience of 2011, Buku will be hosting an after party on the first day of the festival.
