A classic performance with a modern twist is coming to campus this weekend.
The Union Theater will host Vox Lumiere’s “Phantom of the Opera” Saturday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m.
Lumiere’s work pairs the experience of a rock concert with classic silent films for a new take on the story. The show will feature original pieces of music and costume, but will follow the themes of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s original “Phantom of the Opera.”
The show also has a Cirque du Soleil feel, with acrobatic acts and dance movements.
Student tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Union Box Office.
