Pro staff from the UREC Student Recreational Center are attending the National Intramural and Recreational Sports Conference this week.
The conference takes place in Tampa, Fl., where more than 2,000 recreational employees will gather to hear guest speakers and participate in educational sessions.
Brad Wilson, UREC assistant director, said he’s looking for new ideas for expanding the facility in coming years, as well as for future pro staff employee candidates.
Graduate assistants and Group X instructors also plan to attend exercise classes to gain ideas for UREC Group X courses.
