Freshman pitcher Aaron Nola will make his third midweek start tonight, but that will likely be the last time fans see him on a weekday.
Following tonight’s 6:30 p.m. game against Northwestern State, Nola will replace sophomore Kurt McCune as the Sunday starter and make his first career
Southeastern Conference appearance this weekend against Mississippi State.
McCune will move to the bullpen and serve as a setup man.
“If you want to be a champion, you can’t be weak in any area,” said LSU coach Paul Mainieri.
