Members of Laptop Orchestra of Louisiana, Nick Hwang, Corey Knoll and Andrew Larson will be at Spanish Moon tonight encouraging people to tip the bartender and contribute to their trip to the International Tuba and Euphonium Conference in Lynz, Austria.
The Laptop Orchestra of Louisiana is a digital orchestra where members build instruments with computer programs. These instruments use different pieces of a computer or technology, like the keyboard or camera, to create sound.
Hwang said their goal is to raise three-thousand dollars. Currently, they have raised fifteen hundred dollars.
Although the Laptop Orchestra does receive funding from the University, Hwang said the Orchestra has used up most of its funding for other conferences and concerts.
