Taylor Cox and Carrie Hebert will be the next Student Government president and vice president.
The Be Heard ticket garnered 53.79 percent of the vote in the SG presidential runoff to beat Your LSU’s Landon Hester and Kristina Lagasse, who drew 46.21 percent.  
The win comes after all Your LSU candidates were banned from campaigning Monday and Tuesday. The SG UCourt levied the penalty on the ticket after Your LSU candidates used the SG logo on campaign materials without permission, a violation of the SG election code.
