OXFORD, Miss. — LSU’s night can be summed up by LSU coach Trent Johnson’s ejection with a little over seven minutes to play in a 72-48 loss to Ole Miss.
The Tigers never led at the Tad Smith Coliseum in a game that would have put the team on a five-game win streak and earn a bigger share of NCAA tourney talk.
LSU senior forward storm Warren led the Tigers with 13 points in only 13 minutes of play.
The Tigers were able to stick with the Rebels off the boards with minus-1 rebound margin despite LSU’s disadvantage in height and being outmuscled for the majority of the game.
LSU will travel back home for its final regular season home game against Tennessee on Wednesday.
