The LSU Law School recently ranked first in the nation for bar exam passage ratios, according to a study in the “National Jurist” magazine.
The study determined a probability distribution and identified which schools had the most extreme deviations from a predictive statistical model based on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT).
Campbell University Law School and Stanford University Law School, respectively, followed LSU in the rankings.
The “National Jurist” article suggests Louisiana’s bar exam model could have aided LSU students in the exam, helping them score higher. However, LSU Law School Chancellor Jack Weiss disagreed with this conclusion.
