A section of South Stadium Drive that runs along Tiger Stadium will be closed to traffic for a year and a half starting Dec. 3 as more construction commences on the stadium.

The portion of South Stadium that runs from South Campus Drive to West Stadium Road will not be open to daily travelers. The section runs in front of Office of Parking, Traffic and Transportation.

Instead, traffic will be diverted to North Stadium Road and Ceba Lane, according to a University news release Friday.
