Happy Halloween, everybody!

Not much has happened since Tuesday, so let’s get right into it.

1. iPad Mini Reviews

The reviews are in, and the jury says…

“The perfect size, but at a price.” – CNET

“iPad mini is an excellent tablet — but it’s not a very cheap one.” – The Verge

“This is, in many ways, Apple’s best tablet yet…At $329, this has a lot to offer over even Apple’s more expensive tablets.” – Engadget

Basically, the tablet is fine, but expensive. Which was my biggest complaint after the announcement last week. I’m still not sold on the price, but the tablet works. We’ll see how well it sells tomorrow.

2. Dandy Sandy

Thoughts go out to all those affected by Superstorm Sandy. We know how hurricanes are down here, so we understand what you are going through.

That said, don’t be stupid and waste your cell phone battery posting Instagram pictures. Turn cellular data off, brightness all the way down and only send text messages. That’s the easiest way to save a lot of battery.

In addition, AT&T and T-Mobile have joined forces to help those without coverage in NYC and New Jersey.
