William Bouvay Jr., 42, of 8224 Skysail Ave., was arrested Wednesday morning, Sept. 19 in relation to the bomb threat reported Monday, Sept. 17.
William Bouvay Jr. has been indicted by a federal grand jury, according the U.S. Attorney’s office and Baton Rouge district attorney.
Bouvay is being charged with willfully conveying false information concerning the attempt to destroy property by means of explosives. If found guilty, he could face 10 years in jail and a $250,000 fine.
Bouvay is still facing state charges that could tack on up to 20 more possible years in prison.
