As the gusts of wind and barrages of rain from Tropical Storm Isaac come to the University over the next few days, The Daily Reveille will keep students constantly updated.
While the paper’s print edition will not run again until the University re-opens classes, lsureveille.com will be updated as news happens over the next few days.
News updates will also come from the Reveille’s twitter accounts @lsureveille, @TDR_news and @TDR_sports, and The Daily Reveille’s Facebook page.
The Daily Reveille is asking students to help them keep on top of their coverage by tweeting photos of hurricane preparations, the storm and the aftermath @lsureveille.

University Relations has issued the following list of suggestions for students as the hurricane approaches:
— Have a working flashlight and a supply of batteries to last several days — Fill your gas tank, in case gas is difficult to get for a few days — Purchase enough bottled water to last at least three days (a gallon per day per person is recommended) — Purchase non-perishable food items, and foods that do not need to be heated, enough for several days — If buying canned goods, don’t forget a hand-operated can opener, or one that does not require electricity — Locate and have handy all important documents, including any insurance papers
