Happy’s Irish Pub on Third Street hosted Friday its first live music and painting event, Paint Dat Music, showcasing the work of local artists and musicians.
The event featured local artists Halley Dunn, Jacob Zumo and Marc Fresh along with the tunes of jazz-funk fusion bands Gris Gris and Captain Green.
Drew McArdle, owner of Easy Breathe Productions, which sponsored the event, said the festivities were in tune with his company’s mission of enhancing the cultural experience of Baton Rouge, and he’s planning similar to events for the future.
