Katrice Albert, the University’s vice provost for Equity, Diversity and Community Outreach, is leaving to take a similar position at the University of Minnesota System.
Albert’s decision to leave comes on the heels of University Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administrative Services and CFO Eric Monday announcing his departure for Kentucky.
Albert has been at the University for nearly 12 years, according to a broadcast email from Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Stuart Bell.
“Her efforts are in great part the reason LSU has its most diverse population in school history and she leaves a legacy of growing diversity that we can build upon,” Bell said in his email.
Albert will join Monday, along with former System President John Lombardi, former Chancellor Michael Martin and former Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Jack Hamilton in being the fifth top-level administrator to leave the University since last spring.
