The Center for Energy Studies will sponsor a day-long conference Wednesday focusing on renewable energy projects.
“Alternative Energy 2008: Overcoming Challenges to Development” will be held in the Woods Auditorium in the Energy, Coast and Environment Building. Registration will open at 8 a.m., and sessions with speakers will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The sessions will feature seven speakers discussing several aspects of renewable energy, including creating alternative fuel products and business endeavors.
