LSU coach Les Miles indefinitely suspended rising junior quarterback Ryan Perrilloux for violating team rules. LSU announced the suspension Monday afternoon through a press release. “Ryan has been suspended indefinitely due to his failure to follow team rules,” Miles said. According to the release, Perrilloux’s status for spring practice has not been determined. Senior Associate Athletic Director Verge Ausberry told The Daily Reveille on Monday afternoon that Perrilloux is not facing legal trouble. “I don’t know all the details,” he said. “He’s going to meet with Coach Miles, and they’ll go from there. It’s nothing outside the football program.” Miles previously suspended Perrilloux in May after Baton Rouge Police Department cited him for attempting to enter a casino without proper identification. Perrilloux also missed the Nov. 3 Alabama game after his alleged involvement in a fight at the Varsity Theatre. Miles dismissed reserve linebackers Derrick Odom III and Jeremy Benton from the team after they were linked to the incident.
