ALABAMA MAN ARRESTED FOR SIMPLE BATTERYA man unaffiliated with the University was arrested Saturday at about 3 p.m. for being involved in a fight.Bradford T. Zizzi, 38, of 1125 Heritage Lane, Tuscaloosa, Ala., was charged with simple battery.LSU Police Department spokesman Capt. Russell Rogé said Zizzi was arguing with an LSU fan in the Veterinary School parking lot about football tickets when the fan said “something Zizzi didn’t like.”Zizzi allegedly punched the fan, who fell to the ground into a fetal position, and witnesses pulled Zizzi away. Zizzi was issued a misdemeanor summons and released.MAN ARRESTED FOR SIMPLE ASSAULTA University transient employee was arrested Saturday at about 5 p.m. for threatening a co-worker inside Tiger Stadium.Ronald Williams, 34, of 196 Apartment Court Drive, Baton Rouge, was charged with simple assault.Rogé said Williams started a verbal argument with a co-worker after being fired.Rogé said LSUPD officers had cuffed Williams and were escorting him out the stadium when Williams said, “What’s going to happen when they take these cuffs off, and I break his jaw?”Williams was issued a misdemeanor summons, released off campus and banned from the University.MAN ARRESTED FOR SHOPLIFTINGA man unaffiliated with the University was arrested Saturday at about 11 a.m. for stealing a pair of $6 socks from the LSU Bookstore.Joshua B.
