The young Lady Tigers played No. 25 Xavier to a 42-42 tie late in the game before falling in the final minutes.LSU junior guard Allison Hightower earned her first career double-double, scoring a team-high 15 points and grabbing a career-high 11 rebounds.But it wasn’t enough to stop Xavier (2-2) from handing LSU (1-2) its second loss of the season, 57-48.The loss was only the Lady Tigers’ second home loss in the month of November since 1981.”It’s pretty frustrating tonight,” LSU coach Van Chancellor said. “You cannot shoot 32 percent [from the field], 0 percent [from 3-point range] and 63 percent [from the foul line] and expect to win.
