The presidents of Louisiana’s four university systems have joined in support of a “a new way of doing business for higher education” according to a news release from the Louisiana Board of Regents.James W. Firnberg, special assistant in the office of Academic Affairs with the LSU System, said this involves recalculating the “formula” for state funding.University systems include the Louisiana State University System, the Southern University System, the University of Louisiana System and the Louisiana Community and the Louisiana Technical College System.——Contact Lindsey Meaux at [email protected]
