LSU beat Centenary, 64-58, on Friday night in the LSU Invitational at the PMAC.The Tigers had a 20-point lead, 62-42, with 2:07 left in the game. At that point, coach Trent Johnson subbed in freshman walk-on Zach Kinsley, which left four freshmen and senior guard Terry Martin on the floor.Johnson said the decision was made to play “some guys that needed minutes.””They didn’t do as good of a job as the veteran group did, but the game was never in jeopardy,” Johnson said.Senior center Chris Johnson led the way for the Tigers with 17 points and 14 rebounds.
