LSU’s volleyball team will be in the postseason for its fourth consecutive season.
The Tigers (18-9, 13-7 SEC) will travel to Los Angeles for their first round match against the 14th-seeded UCLA Bruins (20-10, 9-9 Pac-10) on Friday night at 10:00 p.m. CST. With a win, the Tigers would face the winner of the Duke vs. San Francisco State University match.
The Tigers are currently riding a six game winning streak.
“We are really excited to be in the tournament,” said LSU coach Fran Flory in a news release. “We knew that we were a bubble team, so we are thankful for the opportunity to compete.”—-Contact The Daily Reveille’s sports staff at [email protected]
