(AP) — The board that regulates utilities in Louisiana has rejected its staff’s recommendation to find that Entergy Corp. acted improperly in making business decisions in the 1990s that resulted in higher monthly bills for customers. Had the Public Service Commission agreed with its staff, Entergy would have had to refund “tens of millions of dollars” to its 1 million customers in Louisiana, said Michael Fontham, a New Orleans lawyer representing the PSC staff.—-Contact The Daily Reveille’s news staff at [email protected]
