BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Twelve veterans are going to be added to Louisiana’s Veterans Hall of Honor as part of a series of Veterans Day events in the state’s capital city.
Governor Bobby Jindal plans to be in attendance Tuesday as the veterans are inducted.
Nearly 326,000 Louisiana residents have served in the armed forces, according to the governor’s office, including nearly 27,000 currently in the military.
