BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — U.S. Attorney David Dugas says a Canadian man has pleaded guilty to charges of conspiring to distribute and possession with the intent to distribute marijuana and ecstasy.
Prosecutors alleged Ben Huu Dinh supplied associates in New Orleans and Baton Rouge with between 200,000 and 300,000 dosage units of the two drugs.
Dugas’ office says four others were sentenced previously as part of the feds’ investigation in the case.
The office says Dinh faces up to 20 years in prison, a $1 million fine or both.
