A year ago this Sunday, a portion of the parish’s Blue Laws were repealed to allow merchants to sell wine and liquor on Sundays. Co-owner of Green’s Purple and Gold, Jason Green, said there has been no great improvement in business. University students expressed mixed feelings about the repeal.
