ERIE, Pa. (AP) — Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin says Democrat Barack Obama offered few national security specifics in his infomercial. Palin told 6,000 people at an Erie, Pa., convention center Thursday that John McCain is better suited to protect the nation. The Alaska governor also says congressional Democrats want to cut military spending sharply but she says this is not the time to do that. Palin drew boos from the Erie audience when she said she was glad to be in the home state of the World Series-winning Philadelphia Phillies. —-Contact The Daily Reveille’s news staff at [email protected]
