NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Tulane running back Andre Anderson is out for the season. An MRI revealed both a fracture and dislocation of Anderson’s right shoulder suffered in Saturday’s loss to Rice. He will have surgery on Monday. Coach Bob Toledo says losing Anderson is a big blow for the team and disappointing for the junior, who is in his first year as a starter. He ranks eighth with 864 yards and seven touchdowns. Anderson is also Tulane’s second leading receiver with 25 receptions for 202 yards and one touchdown.
