Louisiana ranked second from 2001-07 in exports to Iran, The Associated Press reported today.
The state exported nearly $118 million worth of goods to Iran during that time span, and corn was the most popular export, according to the report.
The report also said U.S. exports to Iran grew more than tenfold in President Bush’s time in office.
The country sent $158 million worth of cigarettes to Iran since Bush took office in 2001.
