University student running for Metro Council — 7/11

University graduate student Donald Hodge is running for the District 11 seat of the East Baton Rouge Parish Metropolitan Council.
Hodge is a former columnist at The Daily Reveille and also served in Student Senate.
Hodge’s stated goals include developing a downtown entertainment district, adopting the One Baton Rouge resolution and “making the loop by-pass a reality”.
The primary election is to be held Oct. 4, 2008.
