Senior linebacker Darry Beckwith will miss Saturday’s road game against Auburn, LSU coach Les Miles confirmed Sunday during his weekly media briefing.Beckwith left the North Texas game on crutches after sustaining a leg injury in the first half.Miles confirmed that the medical staff “saw something” on an MRI but the report indicated it was a short-term injury.”It’s safe to say that he won’t be available this week,” he said.After Auburn, LSU faces Mississippi State at home Sept. 27.Miles said it’s “very possible” Beckwith could return to the Tigers before their Oct. 4 open date.
