The traffic on Nicholson Drive at the Brightside Lane/ West Lee Drive intersection has received complaints for years by not only students but Baton Rouge drivers in general, Graham said.As part of the City Parish Green Light Plan, engineers are drawing plans to widen Nicholson Drive and construct turning lanes in all directions at the Brightside intersection. The 90 percent preliminary plans drawn up by Forte and Tablada Engineers were finalized today, said Ann Trappey, CEO of the company and design engineer of the project.
