Mark Gasiorowski will be in Middleton Library today talking about the politics of Iran during the late 1970s and early 1980s.Gasiorowski, a political science professor, will be using Marjane Satrapi’s graphic novel “The Complete Persepolis” as the base of his discussion.The talk will allow students to get a better understanding of the graphic novel, and for instructors to find a way to integrate the book into their courses, according to a University news release.Gasiorowski served as a consultant to the U.S. Department of State and has testified in front of the 9/11 Commission.The public event will be in Room 53 of Middleton Library today at 3 p.m.
